Sourced and submitted content for the RBV newsletter is reviewed in consideration of the following criteria:

• Groundbreaking or captivating content offering perspective on the lived experiences of the Black community

• Highlights social, economic or political inequities and injustices that need to be addressed

• Offers a path forward for how those inequities and injustices can be resolved

  (though solutions do not need to be policy-focused)

• Is authentic, direct and real

• Does not plug a specific organization, candidate, product, or party

• Has already been published or posted, either in traditional media or on an author-owned platform
